- Grandstand Events: Sprint Cars and ICMA Modifieds, Cage Fighting, Combine Derby, Antique Tractor Pulls, Great Lakes Invitational Bull Ride, Enduro Derby. Monster Trucks and two nights of NTPA Truck and Tractor Pulls were cancelled due to inclement weather.

Due to severe weather and based on forecasts from the National Weather Service, the Ionia Free Fair Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel the remainder of the 2011 fair schedule. Grand River levels and extremely heavy rain have forced the closing of all on-site parking lots, and have made it impossible to conduct fair activities. The forecast of additional rain (possibly heavy) could worsen the situation, and the possibility of additional flooding.
Ride wristband vouchers will be accepted at all upcoming Playworld Amusement locations and may also be used at the 2012 Ionia Free Fair.
