SHOWMANSHIP TROPHY - Northern Lights Home School Marching Band
Presented to the entry judged as the parade's most entertaining entry.
BILL COLLEY MEMORIAL ANTIQUE CAR TROPHY - 1971 Oldsmobile 442- Terry Sherman
Presented to the entry that is judged as the best antique car entry that does not participate
as part of an antique car club.
EQUESTRIAN TROPHY - Roseview Farms- Tim Marshall
Presented to the entry judged as the parade's best horse entry.
CHARLES BRILL MEMORIAL AWARD - Belding High School Marching Band
A trophy will be presented to the parade's outstanding band. High school marching band
and community bands are eligible for this award. Mr. Brill was a longtime Ionia Fair
participant as Director of the Ionia High School Marching Band and Director of the Maple
Valley Community Band. This award also recognizes and honors Mr. Brill's many other
musical contributions to the Ionia Public Schools and the Ionia community.
JACK LALLEY MEMORIAL PARADE THEME TROPHY - Heartland Health Care Center
Presented to the parade entry that best represents the parade's "In The Spirit of Being
Free" theme. The award recognizes Mr. Lalley's involvement with the parade for five
decades.
PROFESSIONAL FLOAT TROPHY - Independent Bank
Presented to individuals or an organization entering a professionally made float judged as
best in parade.
NON-PROFESSIONAL FLOAT TROPHY - Ionia County Historical Society
Presented to individuals or organization entering a float that is not constructed or furnished
by a professional float company.
PARTICIPATION RIBBONS
A ribbon will be presented to each parade entry.
